Desperate for work, William Bradshaw makes the mistake of accepting a management job offered by the law firm of Cickam, Wender and Downe. Too late he learns that his job is to ‘manage’ the goblins on the world of Other Place as their king. Will’s goblin followers are short, stupid and mildly crazy. They delight in causing trouble, and setting traps is the national pastime. Will can get home if he can find a loop hole in his contract with the lawyers.
That’s soon the leads of his problems when he accidentally starts a war with a neighboring human kingdom and their fashion obsessed monarch, Kervol Ket. The only way Will is going to live long enough to get home is by winning the war, a tall order when kervol has archers, knights, foot soldiers and siege weapons. Worse, goblins haven’t won a war in recorded history, and they have no interest in starting now.
But this time things are going to be different, because Will is determined to win. He’s backed up by troll bodyguards, a magic mirror, an overachieving fire scepter and teeming hordes of goblins. It’s going to take stealth, subterfuge and a seemingly endless supply of exploding outhouses, but Will is going to win.

Arthur Daigle was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He earned a degree in biology from UIUC, which seemed like a good idea at the time. he has worked in such diverse fields as water quality intern, research assistant, test grader and garden associate. This book was pretty much inevitable given that he’s been a fan of fantasy and science fiction since he was old enough to walk. William Bradshaw, King of the Goblins is his first book, and two sequels have been published.
