Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start writing.
I’ve been telling stories for years. When I was a kid, they called it lying. At some point, I decided that poetry would be a good outlet. But ideas for short stories kept nagging. Eventually, I turned to screenplays. Finally, I began writing novels.
Tell us about your books.
The TELL ME WHEN I’M DEAD trilogy is the story of a recovering alcoholic who is just starting to get his life together with the help of his amazing wife. Then a plague strikes his town, and soon people are turning into zombies. Over the course of the three books, Dave Pulaski goes from regular guy to a stone-cold killer of the undead. When that isn’t enough, he goes after the people who caused the outbreak.
How did you go about getting published?

What’s your next book project?
I am getting a new novel, CHAINSAW HONEYMOON, ready for publication. Though the title sounds violent, it’s quite a departure from my previous books. Here is a short synopsis:
Ruby Navarro, a bright, funny fourteen-year-old who loves horror movies, is on a mission to get her parents back together. But she can’t do it alone. She’ll need her two best friends, her dog, an arrogant student filmmaker, and a computer-generated, chainsaw-wielding killer. What could possibly go wrong?
