In 2089, on a terraformed Venus [not Mars], an amazing discovery is made that can save Earth’s global system from collapsing, but the finding threatens to start an interplanetary war.
(Amidst this tension) A man of war falls in love with a woman of peace and together they must save two worlds.
In the year 2089, Earth’s overly stressed, discordant global system teeters on the brink of collapse. Diminishing essential resources – fresh water, food, soil, air, fuel, and others – can no longer adequately sustain the world’s economies and populations. Nations, large and small, are competing fiercely for control of these critical commodities and resources, are in a constant state of conflict and on the brink of global war.
Finally acknowledging the imminent global collapse confronting them, the better part of the world’s nations agree to put their differences aside for the common good and form a global alliance. A global truce was declared and an armistice put into effect. in desperate effort to set things right, it is approved the world will work together towards the greater common cause of survival.
In the event Earth’s natural system gave way, a Plan-B was needed. At length, an extreme, if not drastic scheme, is decided upon. Plan-B became Plan-V, Mission Venus. Venus would be planetary engineered and made habitable too humans.
Working together, nations and peoples make the vision of Venus reality. Replete with natural resources, the resurrected Venus becomes the brave new world, New Earth, or Neagi as it is renamed.
Here on New Earth drama unfolds. Amidst the pristine, threatening beauty of the new world, adventure awaits in the challenges and dangers of covert rescue and recovery mission that crosses the wild planet. A mystery presents itself in an astonishing, shocking discovery regarding the origins of humankind; a secret which when revealed will forever change the fundamental perception of planet Earth and of the human race. A woman of peace and a man of war fall in love only to become mortal enemies when ideologies clash and worlds collide. When a power struggle ensues for control of Neagi, the existence of two planets and all their peoples find themselves in peril. A hopeful, true solution to save failing Earth is revealed but seemingly it cannot be brought to bear without a war of worlds. Indeed, this dystopian New Earth is hardly paradise it was intended to be.
New Earth 8 is a story of the valiant action to institute Mundus, a masterful plan for sustainable existence intended to save two worlds and prevent human species extinction. The story takes a hard look at, and a hard line against, the current self-destructive path we are on and provides an actionable solution, a blueprint for a better way; the Mundus Plan. A new Earth is envisioned and created…New Earth 8.

~ Tao Mundus ~
Hello. Thank you for showing interest in my work.
A lifetime of study, observation, and experience has led me to fathom a deep concern for our planet’s near future. Indeed, this concern extends to the belief that very existence of the human species is in grave jeopardy. The understandings garnered from my many years of learning are the story of origins of New Earth 8, the Mundus Plan, and, subsequently, 8SOW.org.
It has been said, to know someone, know their percept, their beliefs. Of this regard, I shall share something of myself with you.
My worldview is that of a ‘sustainist’, that is to say, my primary perception of the world is one of global sustainability. Similarly, my core values reflect this viewpoint. It is worthy to note, the stance of sustainability is one of political neutrality as its prevalence cuts across the entire party spectrum. The well-being of every single person on the planet depends upon the institution of sustainable practice.
Religiously, I am a believer in, and respectful supporter of, all such houses of worship intent on efforts of goodwill unto humanity. And while a student of many fine faiths, I am devotee to none save a personal belief, one uniquely my own.
Economically, my beliefs are most closely aligned with what I have come to call multiplex economics (more about this later). I believe the greatest economic good will result when sustainable practice is allowed to appropriately gauge the needs of a diverse economic system.
Politically, I am a moderate, a centrist of undeclared party affiliation. A firm believer in civil liberties and the natural human rights of all peoples, I feel a tolerant, democratic, constitutional based form of federal government, will best serve to unite a complex, diversified, multi-faceted world community.
Having said that, regardless of my politics, your politics, or anyone’s politics, partisanship is secondary, superseded and overridden by the needs to sustain and survive. The world community must rally to the greater cause of continued existence, become bigger than our differences, and unify to serve a common good.
Existentially, I fear the worst while holding hope for the best. In this perilous modern world of advanced weaponry, irresponsible development and use of scitec, and diminishing key resources, I truly believe the very survival of the human species is at now stake, and i mean right now. Preservation of the human race can best, and likely only, be achieved lastingly achieved through a global union of nations.
My ethnicity, culture, race, background, education and other demographic aspects of my personal makeup…
