PK Pineda is a 14-year-old middle school student from the year 2029 who breaks into an abandoned apartment building. An accident sends him back in time, not to his favorite era, the glamorous 1930s, but to the seedy, smoggy 1970s, a time he knows next to nothing about. He has his hands full right away, big boxy cars, bell bottoms; and not even a single Metro line to take him anywhere. Add to this, the presence of an entity in his new home who definitely means him harm. PK thought the trip back in time was his biggest challenge, but he has many more to come, for he is permanently adrift in another century.

William Hardesty was born in Wichita, Kansas but he didn’t stay for too long. He moved (not by himself) at 6 months of age; and thus began a lifelong odyssey as an American nomad that found him living in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Atlanta. Along the way, he sponged up hundreds of stories from all over. From these places he found inspiration for his first novel, Memories of Hollywood.
His travels led him to the great state of Georgia and his lovely wife Isabelle. He’s gotten rid of his packing boxes (for now).
