Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start writing.
I started writing short stories around the age of 8. I turned my hobby into what I thought would be a career in my 20s, but as life would have it took a back burner to paying bills. 20 years later I have compiled my incomplete works and released 6 of them so far. With many more in my overactive mind and a few more to complete, I should be bringing much more to the table now.
Tell us about your books.
I have written a total of six books that have been published. Three of them are part of a crime series. Two of them focus mainly on the horror genre, the final which is my newest release is an exotic love story.
How did you go about getting published?
I had no chose but to self- publish. Although this process is harder and more time consuming I think it preserves your original idea a little better.
What is your writing process? Do you have a time, day or place you like to write?
I have no particular set time or place. I tend to write whenever the ideas come to mind. Even at three a.m.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing? Full-time job, pets, hobbies?
I love to be creative whether it would be writing or creating 3d animations.
Any advice for authors about book covers?
The only advice I would give is to look at the books in that genre. You don’t have to copy that but get a general idea of what somebody would look for.
What’s your favorite book?
Besides my own of course, I would have to go with anything written by William Shakespeare or Edgar Allen Poe. Their work pushes me to think of the time and endless possibilities.
What are you reading now?
I don’t really have the time with three kids in the house to sit and relax with a good novel. The latest things I’ve read are classics by Dr.Suess and science 101.
What’s your next book project?
Currently, I am working on a fictional story about a young singer and his band. It takes place in the late 80’s and covers everything from what it takes to get a gig and the party life off stage.
