Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start writing.
Writing has always been a passion of mine since childhood. I used to carry around a notebook in school and wrote a lot of poetry. Then I dabbled in fan fiction for a few years before I began writing my first book.
Tell us about your books.
My first book is titled “My Brother’s Keeper”, which is a paranormal romantic thriller with complex characters living within a gritty existence.
How did you go about getting published?
I took the self-publishing route, and decided to publish my work through Amazon.
What is your writing process? Do you have a time, day or place you like to write?
I typically write during the day if I have time, preferably in the morning after I go to the gym. And I really don’t have a special work space at the moment, and so I will just try to write either in my dining room or in my bedroom where there’s less noise.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing? Full-time job, pets, hobbies?
I’m a stay at home mom, which technically is a full time job. But I also like working out, going to concerts, wine tasting, shopping, and baking.
Any advice for authors about book covers?
Do your research before you hire someone. Not only ask to see their previous work, but research the requirements from the publisher.
Any marketing tips you’d like to share with other authors?
Utilize your social media as much as possible.
