Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start writing.
As a qualified psychotherapist and motivational expert, I use my educational background and my own life and work experiences in my books. It is this background that led me on to writing proper self help and personal development books with guaranteed psychological, philosophical and spiritual principles and techniques to help the teader become the best of who they are.
My desire to help people on all levels and my experiences with clients led me on towards writing to help them, and tbis writing process continued on to writing books with a deeper message and deeper meaning.
Also being born and growing up in East London has helped me understand people from all different backgrounds, and this innate knowledge can be seen in my work and in my books.
Tell us about your books.
I have four published books at present:
The Secrets of Existence and Fulfilment

All my books are about personal growth, self help and personal development.
I incorporate psychology, philosophy and spirituality in all my books, and each book is geared towards motivating, inspiring and helping the reader become the best of who they are.
How did you go about getting published?
I used a traditional publisher for my first book and I have also self published. There are advantages to both, but it is always good to have books published in one way or another rather than
just dreaming of having a book published.
Once you are published, it is a tremendous achievement and something to be proud of. A definite highlight of my life…
What is your writing process? Do you have a time, day or place you like to write?
I have always been pretty disciplined in my writing, I aim to do something every day in one eay or another:
You have to be pretty disciplined in one way or another, and also flexible.
I have no restrictions when or where I write although I do give my self rest and recuperation time to recharge my batteries once in a while…
What do you like to do when you’re not writing? Full-time job, pets, hobbies?
As a qualified psychotherapist and motivational expert, my job is incorpoated in my writing, and my writing is incorporated in my work! So I am always thinking about how to best help people.
I have lived in six countries and I speak a few languages so I love travelling and meeti g people. Every person has a story so you just need to be willing to listen.
I love reading and writing of course and I love cooking as I am a dab hand in the kitchen!
I have played sports and trained all my life, and I like to keep fit.
I love football and all sports, and have been to many live sporting events.
I love music also and have seen about thirty different bands live – everything from The Rolling Stones, to reggae, to dance, to pop music….
I am in a great relationship and I am totally in tune with my partner. Its such a great feeling to be in the right relationship, and that is one of my central messages….
Any advice for authors about book covers?
Never give up.
Even the great writers have had rejections, so you need to keep going.
Regarding book covers, it depends on your genre I feel. Having a flashy cover is great, but ultimately its about the writing.
They do say never judge a book by its cover, whether that cover is good or bad….
Any marketing tips you’d like to share with other authors?
Its all aboit marketing really. Every author has a romantic notion about books and publishing, but the reality is that its all about being discovered and marketing.
Here are my three tips:
Always look to be discovered.
