Annalisa Russo is a Midwest girl who grew up in an overpopulated first-generation Italian family in the burbs of Chicago. Annalisa published her first novel in 2012, Rags to Rubies, a stand-alone book set in Chicago 1928, and has completed her four-book Cavelli Angel Saga with her novel Angel Boy. The third book of the series: Angel Lost, Angel Found was one of the winners of the International Digital Award for historical romance in 2016. Her series chronicles the lives of Italian immigrants in the 1920s and 1930s. In 2017, Annalisa also started a new Christmas series with All Hearts Come Home for Christmas and has completed the second book When the Heart Finds Christmas, due to be released November 7, 2018. She loves writing holiday stories with a touch of whimsy. Her sixth historical: A Girl’s Best Friend was just released on July 29, 2018. On a personal note, along with a passion for reading and writing, Annalisa enjoys gardening, cooking for company, and frequently invents reasons for traveling. The mother of two grown children, she inherited a narcissistic tabby named Buster who really runs the show.
